Clinics, dental groups, pharmacies, and equipment businesses carry two clocks. One is the patient or the customer. The other is privacy, safety, and accreditation. When those clocks are managed in different meetings, the board hears about a problem after it has a name.
The work is to put risk ownership next to the way the day is run: who can see a record, who can grant vendor access, and which number would have shown the problem last week.
