Evidence-based strategic planning
Planning season produces documents that quote the same ambition as last year. The evidence, if it is there, is in an appendix nobody presents. The meeting then approves a direction the operating teams cannot see themselves in.
We build the plan from the choices that are actually open, with the records the company already trusts. Each choice has an owner. Each one says what would count as being wrong. That is the difference between a plan and a narrative.
This is the same work we do with organizations in Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio.
What the work includes
- Facilitate evidence-driven strategy workshops
- Define objectives, KPIs, and initiative portfolios
- Set review rhythms and decision forums
- Link strategy to budgets and operating plans
What should be different afterward
- A strategy document people can execute
- Visible leading indicators
- Regular course-correction without chaos
