Performance tracking and KPI systems
← Operations & Organizational Performance
Most packs are too long and too late. They prove that last month happened. They do not help a manager act on Tuesday. Adding another chart does not fix that.
We cut the list to the few measures that move before the financials do, and we put them in the meeting that already exists. A measure without an owner, or without a consequence, is dropped. The pack should be something people argue with, not something they file.
This is the same work we do with organizations in Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio.
What the work includes
- Define outcome and leading KPIs by function
- Design scorecards and review routines
- Align data sources and ownership
- Coach teams on using metrics in decisions
What should be different afterward
- Fewer vanity metrics
- Weekly visibility into performance drivers
- Accountability tied to measurable results
